Here at Fuga our goal is to provide you with the smoothest experience possible. Our staff has spent many hours testing and debugging the plugins, however there are still a few known issues. We are doing our best to sort these out as promptly as possible. If you discover any additional ones, please contact us or leave us a message in the comments and we will do our best to take care of them.
Here are the current issues we are aware of:
- The Workshop panel interface gets stuck from time to time. To fix it, refresh the panel by double clicking on the darker grey bar at the very top of it. Also note that you can not edit a Flow while Fuga’s in the middle of performing it (the red dot should be next to the begin action) so be sure to stop the Flow before attempting to modify it.
- The tabs in the Parameters area of the Workshop panel sometimes get stuck as well. Fix this by clicking on the ? tab and then back to whichever tab you were using. This bug should be fixed soon.
- Fuga has been tested in Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OS 10.7, 10.6, 10.5. Fuga does not support Power PCs.
- On Windows 7 you must specify a directory for Fuga to write temporary files into or you will get an error when Fuga attempts to export files from a Flow. You can set this by going to the Hangar or Workshop panel menus (the menu on the very top right side of the panels), selecting Preferences, clicking the Directories tab, browsing for a directory to keep your temporary files in, and then restarting InDesign.

- A locked document (i.e., a document created or modified using a Flow or with multiple versions on it that hasn’t been unlocked) can not be exported as part of a book (pages come up blank). As a work around we recommend exporting the locked pages individually, then unlocking them when you’re ready for the final book export.
- Any document opened or saved with the plugins installed ( can not be exported as part of a book if the plugins aren’t installed. This is how InDesign behaves with all plugins. As a work around, you can either reinstall the plugins, or you can copy and paste the content from the document into a new document.
- After uninstalling the plugins even an unlocked document will ask you to “Save As” when opening for the first time.
